New Year, New Baby

With a heart full of joy I’m beyond excited to share with you that a new life entered this world on December 30th, 2017. Our son, Cedrik is healthy, happy, safe and here!What a way to start the new year. I anticipate 2018 will bring a whole lot of creation, love and growth.I’m not going to lie, there have been a couple of challenging moments. There’s so much to take in, and seemingly so little time. But when I pause and take a present moment to look at the miracle in front of me, the “challenge” fades away and transforms into a beautiful opportunity to stretch my capacity for love, compassion and appreciation.

Before Cedrik was born, I was debating exactly which word I wanted to pick for 2018, and now it’s abundantly clear. My word for 2018 is, Aligned.

More than ever, I see the importance of aligning my words, thoughts and actions to my vision, the values I hold most dear and the way I want to feel in my life, my family, my heart.

To think, only 3 days into his life and Cedrik has already taught me how to live and love a little more fully. I may be his guide, but he is definitely my teacher.
