Let go of that one thing you’ve been holding onto in under 5 minutes

She’s hanging on to a relationship that never happened.

A man she never officially dated. 

She’s hanging on to a dream and wrapped up in the drama of not having been chosen.

As I coach my client inside of an intimate group call for my Portal of Love alumni, I asked her what story was running in the back of her mind when she thought of him - the “one” who got away.

She replies, “that he didn’t choose me.”

“And what do you believe that says about you?”, I asked.

“That I’m not enough”, she replies.

That’s when I invited her to face that fear - “Could you survive not being enough for this man?”

“Yes”, she replied. I am surviving it.

As she felt into that, I could feel her sovereignty returning to her body.

“And what’s holding onto this fear, this possibility that you aren’t enough keeping you from?”, I asked. 

“My happiness. My life. My future.”

“That’s right”, I said. “Feel that. And what if all this time you’ve spent feeling rejected was actually always about HIM feeling and knowing he wasn’t enough for a woman like you?”, I continued.

That’s when I invited her to stand up and imagine a line in front of her. Everything behind that line represented her past, this man and the wounds she’s holding onto (because she was very much holding on). 

Everything over the line represented her future and where she was going. 

I asked her to make a powerful declaration and only step over that line when she was ready to let him go.

There’s a line you need to step over as well. 

There’s something that doesn’t belong with you in 2025 that you’re still holding onto.

I invite you to name what that is, draw a powerful line and STEP over it. Not only conceptually with your mind, but physically with your body.

Feel the power surging through your vessel. The decision is always the first step.
